READING SCRIPTURE TOGETHER

2011 / 2012

All sessions are held at Wilde Lake Interfaith Center.

Each program runs from 12:30 to 2:00 (after the noon mass) on Wednesdays and from 7:30 to 9:00 in the evening on Thursdays.  Light refreshments are provided on Wednesdays to tide folks over.

We read a portion of the scripture together out loud, hear some ideas from the scholars about that text, discuss together, and ask "What do I hear in this Word from God for my life today?".

Please check my blog: www.BibleStudySJERC.org  for notes from previous and current studies and our continually updated schedule, as well as other internet based resources and information.

RECLAIMING THE CENTER

An Inter-faith program at Oakland Mills Interfaith Center designed by the Institute for Christian and Jewish Studies (ICJS).

We will gather for two sessions in the fall of 2011 - Sunday November 6 and Sunday November 13.  We will do a potluck lunch together, followed by brief presentations and a lot of talk at the tables between participants.

We will do additional sessions in the spring of 2012 if there is sufficient interest.

All sessions will be at Oakland Mills Interfaith Center
